Job Overview
This position requires a qualified individual to act as an extension of customer's DQR inspection requirements and function as a Designated Quality Representative (DQR) for applicable customer products and our 3rd party Supplier Development/Quality activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to supplier facilities to perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies.
- Perform routine and complex inspection and quality activities involved in the manufacture and development of products and processes, dimensional layout inspection, and 'first article' verification.
- Provide technical input in areas that involve process inspection methods and acceptance criteria to Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing.
- Must have DQR and/or be willing to obtain DQR.
- Experience working in aerospace manufacturing.
- Intimate knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements.
