Primary Responsibilities:
- Work in a proactive manner to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with prospective, new and existing customers and clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively monitor shipments, address service issues, and communicate updates to customers in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and sales teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective service delivery.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations with professionalism and problem-solving expertise.
- Analyze account performance metrics and provide recommendations for service improvements.
- Identify opportunities for additional business within existing accounts and coordinate with the sales team to drive growth.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, service agreements, and communications in the company’s CRM system.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer service standards.
- Partner with leadership and peer group to train on systems, strategy, pricing, relationship building, order execution and AR management.
- Meet and surpass individual and Company goals related to customer revenue, on-time delivery and pick-up, and load count to support continued profitability for the company.
- Professionally and tactfully decline customer requests when they are not in alignment with Veriha business needs.
- Anticipate problems and act pro-actively to solve them. Initiate solutions and implement actions to alleviate issues and improve service efficiency.

- Minimum of 2 years of prior work experience where emphasis has been on customer service, profitability and business growth.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in business, sales, logistics or transportation preferred, but not required.
- Transportation experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong potential for sales-oriented and negotiation interactions.
