Veriha Trucking is seeking a skilled Developer to help drive our digital transformation and optimize our technology infrastructure. As a Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that enhance our trucking operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, automate processes, and create innovative solutions for our logistics and fleet management needs.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions to support trucking operations, logistics, and fleet management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between various transportation management systems (TMS), GPS tracking, and telematics platforms.
• Implement RPA solutations to automate repetitive and rule-based processes across logistics and operational workflows.
• Maintain and update internal company intranet sites to ensure timely access to tools, documents and communications for employees.
• Optimize database structures and queries for efficiency and performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, including RPA tools and practices, to recommend improvements.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) preferred
• Proven experience in software development, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with web development frameworks and database management systems (SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with RPA
• Experience managing and maintaining intranet or internal web applications (e.g. SharePoint, Confluence, or custom-built platforms).
• Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
