As a Driver Recruiter at Veriha Trucking, you will play a vital role in shaping our company's future by finding and attracting talented drivers to join our team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding and applying Veriha driver qualification standards, Department of Transportation Regulations, and Federal and State Employment Laws in daily practices.
- Proactively reaching out to potential candidates via phone, email, and other means to establish contact and build rapport.
- Conducting interviews, providing information about employment opportunities, and selling the benefits of driving for Veriha Trucking.
- Requesting and reviewing background reports and employment verifications to assess applicants' qualifications.
- Executing conditional offers of employment or issuing denials based on established criteria and regulations.
- Maintaining and updating the applicant database and providing reports as required.
- Assisting in managing social media communications related to recruiting efforts.
- Entering new candidates into our applicant software system.
