Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and document Oracle PL/SQL applications to meet user requirements.
- Develop new batch processes for data migration, transformation, and support data warehouse modeling (tables, stored procedures, views, functions).
- Implement shared components and frameworks using PL/SQL in a Linux/Solaris environment.
- Perform advanced SQL queries and optimize queries for performance.
- Provide on-call support and work in North American shift timings, including weekends.
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and requirement gathering.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in coding languages, database software, and system standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and support.
Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL (advanced queries, tuning).
- Familiarity with Unix and shell scripting.
- Exposure to the financial domain is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Quest SQL Navigator or Toad for SQL development and debugging.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
