Roles and Responsibilities
- Understand and apply data warehouse concepts and requirements to support data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and deliver reports and dashboards using tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
- Design and implement dimensional modeling and ensure proper data structures for analytical reporting from an enterprise data warehouse.
- Analyze, move, and load data efficiently while developing and optimizing queries using T-SQL, PL/SQL, ANSI SQL, or other proprietary SQL languages.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing thorough data validation and troubleshooting.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting.
Required Experience/Skills
- Expert knowledge of databases, Snowflake a plus, also Oracle and SQL Server.
- Understand data warehouse concepts and needs.
- Experience using database reporting tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
- Experience with dimensional modeling and knowledge of proper data structures for analytical reporting from an enterprise data warehouse.
- Ability to perform tasks such as analyzing, moving, and loading data, as well as developing T-SQL, PL/SQL, ANSI SQL, or other proprietary SQL languages
