Description
We are looking for an Android Engineer to join Verily's mobile apps team. Verily's core strategy to advance precision health is by bridging the gap between research and care. Our team is responsible for Verily's flagship consumer product, delivering warm, personalized experiences for users.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, launch and maintain critical user-facing features in an Android app that is core to Verily's business, with opportunities for end-to-end and cross-platform feature development.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate extensively across engineering teams (mobile, BE, FE) and with cross-functional teams (e.g. UX, PM, Test, QE) to deliver high quality, regulated, and impactful software.
- Align with iOS engineers to ensure cross-platform consistency, and find opportunities to improve mobile developer productivity.
- Work closely with Product, UX and Quality on defining requirements, designing mocks, and implementing regulatory protocols. Help all functions understand engineering tradeoffs to ensure smooth implementation across the system.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000 - $150,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
