Description
We are looking for a talented and passionate designer to help define and bring to life a range of solutions related to Verily’s
precision health platform
and its enterprise product offerings, including Workbench
.
This role is part of our Platform & Enterprise UX team, a highly-collaborative group of designers and content designers focused on:
- Laying the foundations of an Enterprise Portal, a single entry point serving enterprise users across Research and Care
- Tools for configuring, governing, and navigating Verily’s comprehensive “Precision Health” data ecosystem.
- Enterprise-grade products such as Workbench, a biomedical research platform that makes the world’s most scientifically valuable data discoverable, accessible, and analyzable
- Building blocks like our Verily Design System that enable rapid deployment of world-class care and research programs.
As a content designer focused on Verily’s data platform and enterprise products, you will collaborate with other content designers, UX designers, UX researchers, product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to help to solve some of the biggest challenges in healthcare and clinical research. You will lead content strategy and UX writing to create engaging and delightfully simple user experiences for complex workflows.

Responsibilities
- Transform clinical and business jargon into simple, helpful and clear content for data providers, configurators, and/or biomedical researchers.
- Develop frameworks, strategies, and best practices that champion the end-user’s needs.
- Collaborate with clinicians, designers, researchers, legal, marketing, product managers, and engineers; influence and adapt to stakeholders and their feedback.
- Contribute to our UX team culture by working on our Verily Design System, participating in design critiques, and supporting cross-Verily UX initiatives, interest groups, and other team activities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- An outstanding portfolio of thoughtfully designed content, demonstrating work across the end-to-end content development process, from identifying best practices to refining copy.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Science Writing, UX, HCI, or 4 years practical experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with proven success working and aligning with cross-functional stakeholders such as product managers, researchers, and software engineers.
- Familiarity with Figma as well as the technical intricacies of designing accessible, responsive web applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability of implementing tone, personality, and brand voice.
Past work that focuses on Enterprise products, Healthcare, Medical services, or other relevant areas. - Experience designing rich data visualizations, complex professional tools, flexible enterprise platforms, AI utilities, or related design solutions.
- Proven track record in bringing projects to launch into a commercial market.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $104,000 - $148,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
