Description

Verily exists to bring the promise of precision health to everyone everyday, and our breadth of solutions of care, research, health financing, and population health monitoring serve customers across various market segments.

As a Solution Sales Associate you will be tasked with closing business in assigned product offerings within the Verily portfolio. This will include prospecting for new customers; conducting discovery calls to validate customer fit; representing Verily at industry events; attending onsite customer meetings to strengthen relationships; negotiating contracts and closing deals with SMB customers. This is a quota carrying position with responsibility in delivering key sales metrics to grow the Verily business.

This role will require you to be flexible, nimble and collaborative as you partner with leaders in our Solution Sales, Marketing and Sales Operations departments to grow awareness, positioning and market share of Verily as the premier solution for precision health.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Pipeline Management & CRM: Oversee the full sales cycle for SMB accounts to meet quarterly targets. Efficiently move qualified prospects through the funnel and meticulously maintain accurate records of all activities in Salesforce and related tools.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with prospects throughout the sales process by demonstrating a deep understanding of their unique challenges and priorities. Engage with prospects at industry events/conferences and onsite customer meetings to further understand their needs and match those to Verily products and services.
  • Pipeline Generation Strategy: Lead development of the pipeline generation strategy for assigned Verily products and services, including refinement of ideal customer profile, persona identification at ICPs and engagement approach, conference engagement strategy and demo meeting strategy, with cross functional partners.
  • Market Curiosity: Develop understanding of assigned Verily products and their target markets. Identify how customers make buying decisions and build sales approaches to match. Identify sources of market intelligence to keep up on market trends and incorporate into customer conversations.
  • Strategic Prospecting: Identify and engage key healthcare decision-makers nationwide about Verily’s products and services. Cold call prospects and conduct discovery conversations to validate needs. Articulate the unique value proposition of Verily's products and services, emphasizing their potential to improve patient outcomes, streamline operations, and drive financial sustainability.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years of sales experience in healthcare or selling to healthcare companies, including medical devices, healthcare benefits, life sciences, SaaS for healthcare companies, etc.
  • Proficient with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Proven ability to build trust, listen actively, and tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of a customer.
  • Ability to travel to tradeshows and customer sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years of sales related experience within the healthcare provider landscape (e.g., hospital operations, clinical workflows, clinical research).
  • Proven track record of closing deals with small and medium sized businesses in the healthcare sector.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders and clearly articulate complex concepts and solutions.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing circumstances with resilience and agency.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 - $80,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
