veriMED Health Group is one of the leading healthcare providers in the central Florida with 19 independent clinics. We have a select team of medical professionals in our clinics and provide superior care to a Medicare Advantage geriatric population and other demographics. We are looking for an experienced medical office manager to join our team. We need someone with experience managing a busy PCP office, managing staff and all that comes with it. We need someone who is flexible and can help us provide superior care to our patients while managing a staff of about 3 employees.
This is a full time, salary management position. If you have at least 3-5 years of medical office management experience, general management experience, experience supervising a team in a medical environment, experience working in a busy PCP office, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, have knowledge of HEDIS measures, heave used EMR (eClinical Works helpful) and want to join a great team while working an excellent schedule, Monday through Friday, 8-5, no evenings and no weekends, then we want to talk with you!
Responsibilities:
- Manage an office in our chain of medical clinics
- Recruiting, interviewing and hiring experience, working with human resources
- Create monthly budget and working with accounting
- Order all office and medical supplies and office service
- Create employee schedule and manage staff
- Review and evaluate the performance of staff
- Review and approve payroll and other expenses
- Other management duties as assigned while working with your administrator

- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
- At least 3-5 years of medical office management experience
- At least 2-3 years of general management and supervisory experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced PCP office
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is helpful
- EMR experience, preferred (eClinicalWorks preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to handle ambiguity
- Pass AHCA background check
