Position Overview:

The individual fulfilling this position is required to be knowledgeable and skilled in the areas of new accounts, teller, vault, safe deposit, and is expected to provide leadership and support. The position has the general responsibility to oversee all retail staff within the branch to ensure smooth and orderly operations of the teller line, new accounts, and reception.

Role & Responsiblities:

• Lead in a manner that creates a positive and productive environment.
• Promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations
• Oversee teller and new account activities and staff
• Oversee CSR activities and staff
• Train frontline staff
• Adheres to policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Be skilled/trained in the areas of new business and consumer deposit accounts, safe deposit and IRA products
• Responsible for branch’s processing of new account transactions
• Responsible for maintenance and customer service for existing customers
• Responsible for retail schedule
• Gather information required to initiate wire transfers
• Responsible for check orders, re-orders, and debit cards
• Acts as the safe deposit custodian
• Provide notary services
• Maintains records of vault and teller station cash balances
• Assists with ATM balancing
• Manages currency orders and shipments
• Performs outage research
• Responsible for cross-training staff
• Performs required audits on tellers
• Conducts and maintains controls on products offered through the teller line
• Other responsibilities at the discretion of management

Qualifications & Education Requirments:

• 5 years banking or supervisory experience preferred
• High School Graduate/GED
• Leadership and delegation skills
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Must possess good oral and written communication
• Present a professional image
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-task environment
• Willing to attend continuing education related courses pertaining to job
• Excel/Word Processing
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
