What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard position at Verintegra Inc?

An active security license is required before starting work. A security license does cost money to obtain if you do not have one.
If you do not have a security license but would like to obtain one, you will be walked through the licensing process. The expenses are as follows: The Non-Commissioned Level 2 Class is approximately $40 and not paid to us (we are not a training school). In addition to the expense of the class, the licensing and fingerprint fees that are paid to the state are approximately $60. During this process, no fees are paid to us for your employment or the security license.
Applicant must have a smartphone, reliable transportation, and an active driver's license.
Equipment Required: The company will provide a uniform shirt. Applicant will provide tactical or uniform pants/shorts and black tactical boots/black shoes.
Duties: Patrol area of responsibility. Direct unauthorized persons away from protected premises. Stay alert to address any incidents. Create and promote a safe environment for guests, customers, contractors, and employees. Identify, address, or report hazardous situations and incidents.
Works well and stays on task with little to no supervision.
Remains attentive throughout shift to help ensure all activities and property related to the premises are accounted for.
Can work around and pay attention to the movements of trucks.
Can work in all types of weather conditions.
Observe and report activities and incidents, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Prepares logs and reports as required.
Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process; precludes unauthorized access to facilities, and the conversion, theft or intentional destruction of physical assets.
Preserves order and acts to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
Monitors entrances and exits; acts to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry; controls entrances, the movement of people and vehicles, and parking.
Patrols assigned site on foot or in a vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, and security violations.
Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives or company management.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers and armed security work and specific protective device and weapons qualifications.
Required to utilize rapid and effective judgment in responding to unusual or emergencies using appropriate escalation of force level.
Physical Requirements: With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms. Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods.
