Assistant Project Manager

We have an immediate need for a well-organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual looking to work across different functions within a listed REIT while getting exposure to strategic tasks.

Reports to: Director, Project Management

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Location: Jersey City

Position Responsibilities:

• On-site coordination and quality control of general contractors and subcontractors
• Developing daily reports to track project progress
• Creation of project schedules
• Procure and analyze proposals and bids
• Execution of construction contracts
• Review of contractor invoices and change orders for accuracy and completeness
• Management of project budget
• Coordination with 3rd party consultants (submittals, RFI’s, etc.)
• Prepare project close-out packages and final records

Position Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• “Nice to Have”: Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
• “Nice to Have”: Knowledge in Microsoft Project, BlueBeam, AutoCAD
• “Nice to Have”: OSHA Safety certification
• Good communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills

Compensation: $60k-$80k
