We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tradeshow and Events Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of Verisk Marketing Solutions tradeshows and events. The ideal candidate has 5 to 7 years of experience in event management, with a strong background in strategic planning, flawless event execution, leveraging social media to maximize event impact, and post-event analysis. This role will be critical in enhancing brand visibility, fostering client relationships, and driving pipeline.

Key Responsibilities :

Event Strategy & Planning :

Develop and implement a comprehensive tradeshow and event strategy aligned with organizational goals.

Identify key tradeshows, conferences, and events that align with company objectives and target audience.

Manage the annual events calendar and budget, ensuring all events deliver ROI.

Conduct pre-event research to identify trends, competitive benchmarks, and opportunities for differentiation.

Event Execution :

Oversee end-to-end event logistics, including booth design, vendor management, staffing plans, and onsite coordination.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product, and corporate teams) to create impactful event experiences.

Manage contracts with vendors, venues, and other external partners to ensure seamless event delivery.

Lead the onsite event team, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional attendee experiences.

Content, Social Media & Digital Integration :

Collaborate closely with the Content Marketing Manager to align and create cohesive event promotion (email and social media) strategies with overall brand messaging and digital objectives.

Work with the Social Media Manager to create engaging content, including live posts, videos, and updates, to amplify event reach and engagement.

Provide input on event-related social media campaigns and ensure timely posting in coordination with the Social Media Manager.

Integrate event strategies with broader digital marketing efforts for maximum impact.

Post-Event Analysis & Reporting :

Leverage technology to report on event success including multi-touch attribution.

Conduct post-event evaluations to assess performance against goals, including attendance, engagement, and lead generation.

Prepare detailed debriefs summarizing successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Use analytics to refine future event strategies and maximize impact.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.

5 to 7 years of proven experience in tradeshow and event management, with a track record of successful execution.

Excellent data-first skills across tracking, measurement, and analytics to deliver ROI, insights, and strategy recommendations.

Experience building and monitoring dashboards that demonstrate ROI and business impact.

Experience developing and managing event strategies that align with business objectives.

Proficiency in social media platforms and tools.

Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management.

Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
