Responsibilities:
Responsible for the concurrent management of one or more medium to large complex IT Business Technology projects. These projects are one-time, multitask jobs that have clearly defined start and end dates, a specific scope of work, a budget, required resources, and a specified performance objective to be achieved. Specific responsibilities include:
- Works with stakeholders and project team to elicit, analyze, validate and prioritize the business needs/requirements
- Conducts interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods
- Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics
- Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
- Participates in the QA of purchased solutions to ensure features/functions have been enabled and optimized
- Participates in the selection of any software solutions that the organization may opt to use
- Develops and utilizes standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications
- Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team
- Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team
- Develops and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted
- Assists with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options, and communicating these back to the business stakeholders
- Manages, enforce and redefine (as necessary) the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements verbally or through written documentation to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood
- Participates in the testing effort throughout the project lifecycle, including test script creation
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Computer Science/ Information Systems, Business, Engineering, etc. or equivalent work experience
- 8 years of related experience or equivalent
- Experience in Waterfall, Agile and Scrum methodology
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
- Proven experience with business IT applications
- Experience with MS Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience working with Electric Generation Interconnection program
- Experience working with Electric Distribution/Transmission/Substation work and asset management processes
- Experience with LIDAR data, GIS and other PSPS related activities
- Experience working with cloud technology: AWS, AZURE, One Cloud
- Working knowledge of Enterprise IT infrastructure, Cyber Security, and other technology domain
- Experience with dashboarding technology such as Power BI or Tableau
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver on significant technology solutions/business process improvements from concept to implementation
