CQV Engineer Typical Responsibilities :
Documenting impact and risk assessments as part of a teamCompleting user interface testing, software verification, and complete alarm testing on automated systemsDeveloping, reviewing, and executing testing documentationMaking recommendations for design or process modification based on test results when executing test scriptsGeneral understanding of capital equipment implementation and process knowledgeUnderstanding validation documents, URS, IQ, OQ, PQVerifying system drawings including ability to review and as built P&IDs (piping and instrumentation drawings) and I&C (instrumentation and controls) drawings as well as verifying electrical schematics with support of an electrical engineerAuthoring and / or reviewing of SOP’s (both new and existing)Authoring and / or reviewing Equipment Requirements SpecificationsDocument calibration and / or maintenance requirements, generate proceduresTroubleshoot manufacturing issues to identify root cause and implement corrective actionsInitiate and / or execute Equipment Impact Assessments on failures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement effortsCommunicates technical information within the teamAdherence with project schedule for all assigned activitiesMaintaining clear, detailed records qualification and validationDocumenting impact and risk assessments as part of a teamCompleting user interface testing, software verification, and complete alarm testing on automated systemsDeveloping, reviewing, and executing testing documentationMaking recommendations for design or process modification based on test results when executing test scriptsGeneral understanding of capital equipment implementation and process knowledgeUnderstanding validation documents, URS, IQ, OQ, PQRequirements
Must be willing to work onsite in Indianapolis, INBachelor’s Degree or equivalent required1-3 years of prior demonstrated CQV experience preferred; regulated industry experience, medical device or pharmaceutical experience highly preferred, will consider new gradsStrong technical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsCommunicate effectively with cross-functional teamsProficiency using PC and Microsoft Office toolsOutgoing personality with strong ability to communicate effectively with peers in clear, concise termsAbility to work as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detailGMP and Good Documentation PracticeIntermediate skills with WORD (authoring / editing large technical documents with styles, tables, TOCs, track changes)Basic skills with EXCEL and PowerPointStrong interpersonal skills and clear communication capabilitiesExperience with and tolerance for high levels of challenge and changeProven attention to detail and organization in project workCapable of working on assigned tasks without mentorshipBenefits
