Warehouse Inventory Control Coordinator
Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor, manages warehouse inventory and maintains database. Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage of finished products.

Warehouse Inventory Control Coordinator Job Description:
The Warehouse Inventory Control Coordinate will oversee the daily/weekly cycle counts for all warehouse locations. They will also be responsible for overseeing timely recording of inventory transfers between the warehouse and production departments and providing general inventory control. The ability to identify reasons for differences between book and physical inventories and design changes to systems and procedures to prevent the differences from occurring again.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain master inventory list with an accurate picking location and overflow location
- Check shipments as they are received against shipping manifest and report any discrepancies
- Inspecting products for quality and accuracy prior to shipping
- Process all inbound product to its appropriate location
- Overall responsibility for the cleanliness of the warehouse
- Compiling and inspecting shipping-related documentation.
- Unloading incoming shipments and reviewing their contents.
- Packing stock in an organized and secure fashion.
- Preparing outbound shipments ahead of delivery times.
- Deliver product to production location
- Monitoring inventory levels to gauge restocking needs.
- Directing and conducting routine warehouse cleaning tasks.
- Assist as needed in loading and unloading trucks and/or containers for forward movement to support product orders
- Crate and uncrate shipments as needed, including labeling, and banding
- Check in and out shipments out of warehouse and keep product inventory up to date via computer software that complies with regulations
- Deliver shipments as needed to production location
- Perform a variety of fulfillment duties such as pulling customer orders, checking orders, packing/assembling orders, and labeling packages.
- Check orders for accuracy and completeness, such as matching shipping label with invoice number.
- Send weekly order fulfillment, inventory and other misc. reports. Participate in continuous warehouse improvement activities.
QUALITY - Plan and implement a process to ensure all damaged/defective product is accounted for and properly dispositioned. Maintain records to accurately track recouped product and return saleable product to stock. Monitor and audit the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reports. Ensure all Quality Control protocols are applied in the daily activity of Warehouse Inventory Control Coordinator.
CYCLE COUNT - As needed, perform, and coordinate weekly cycle counts and make system adjustments.
SAFETY - Ensuring workers' adherence to stipulated safety-related protocols.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Knowledge of company systems
- Ability to make decisions relating to the warehouse
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures
- Must have knowledge of basic computer software that is inventory related
- Computer literate with prior experience working in a windows environment.
- Demonstrated collaborator with the ability to effectively communicate both within and across departments.
- Ability to work under pressure with little supervision while meeting predetermined
- A Creative analytical person with the demonstrated ability to analyze problems and generate solutions.

Required Education and Experience:
- Required: High school diploma or its equivalent
- Required: 1-2 Years warehouse experience and computer proficient
- Preferred: Previous experience in manufacturing industry
- Forklift and pallet jack experience required
Working Conditions:
- Employee will work indoor and outdoor under various climate conditions, predominately indoors in warehousing
- May lift to 50 lbs. as frequently
- Standing or walking majority of scheduled hours
