Veritas Florida is excited to announce new opportunities for dedicated Educational Instructors focused on Mathematics and/or Science within our classical, Christian, college preparatory program. There are available positions in various levels from kindergarten through high school, depending on your specialization and interest. This represents a unique opportunity for a professional who is passionate about shaping young minds in a faith-based educational setting.
This part-time position allows for flexibility to work one to four days per week, providing ample opportunity to make a significant impact on our students while maintaining personal work-life balance. It is important to note that this is not a remote job; the successful candidate will be required to engage in person, benefitting from direct interaction with small class sizes and respectful students who are eager to learn.

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans across math and/or science disciplines tailored to students’ educational and age-specific needs.
Assess and evaluate student progress through structured assignments, exams, and interactive educational activities.
Engage students in thoughtful discussions to deepen their understanding and critical analysis.
Evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments.
Maintain accurate student records, including attendance and grades.
Provide constructive feedback that supports students’ academic and spiritual growth.
Maintain classroom management that fosters a respectful and vibrant learning environment.
Participate actively in periodic staff meetings and teacher training sessions to ensure consistency and high standards across all levels.
Cultivate a classroom atmosphere that is supportive and encouraging, aligning with the school’s mission and values.
Instill a love for learning and a respectful classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with other staff to promote the overall mission of the school.
Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding students' progress and embodying the school’s commitment to partnership in education.
Requirements
Must be a committed Christian, actively living a lifestyle in accordance with the Christian faith and eager to incorporate this perspective into teaching practice.
Must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
Prior classroom experience, demonstrating effective teaching and classroom management strategies.
Teacher certification is not necessary, but a strong foundational understanding of the subjects to be taught is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to respectfully and effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple teaching assignments and administrative responsibilities.
Passionate about working with youth and fostering an environment conducive to learning.
