About the Position:
The Trainer develops, implements and manages the training plan for two child support services offices with a staff of approximately 212, located in Memphis, TN. The position reports to the Program Improvement Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintains training plan.
- Identifies and assesses current and future training needs, using job analysis, annual performance appraisals, and in consultation with the quality assurance analyst and management team.
- Works with supervisors and staff to develop individualized training plans based on job responsibilities and any knowledge gaps.
- Develops and revises training modules and handouts.
- Maintains training calendar, schedules and notifies participants and their supervisors, and coordinates all training session activities.
- Delivers group training and provides one-on-one remedial training at a supervisor’s request.
- Monitors and evaluates training program’s effectiveness, including following up with participants and their supervisors to ensure learning objectives are met.
- Prepares and provides training reports to corporate and local managers.
- Manages training budget.
- Looks for, and works with leadership team, to provide outside staff development opportunities for employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, or relevant field.
- One year of training experience.
- Three years of child support services experience.
- Knowledge of current child support policy and procedures.
- Experience designing and executing successful training programs.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of computers and software (Microsoft and Adobe products).
