  • Participate in military funeral training sessions and use ANC-provided resources including stationary and ceremony coordination tools.

Pastoral and Administrative Support

  • Maintain consistent communication with ANC Chaplain Corps staff, responding to funeral notifications within the same business day.
  • Contact NOK at least one week in advance of assigned services and provide condolence letters post-service.
  • Upload required documentation and service reports to the designated ANC platform within two business days.

Professional Conduct and Military Protocol

  • Adhere to military customs and courtesies and conduct all services in accordance with Air Force Handbook 1 (AFH1) and AFPAM 34-1202.
  • Observe the rules regarding privileged communication, and complete SAPR, Cyber Awareness, and Family Advocacy training per USAF standards.
  • Serve as a respectful and professional representative of the Jewish faith and VMG at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in written and spoken English and capable of using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident and pass a background check for ANC access.
