Job Summary:
Veritas Management Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regional Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Coordinator to support our Regional Office (RO) in planning, coordinating, and implementing high-quality training and technical assistance services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring alignment with the Office of Head Start (OHS) priorities and initiatives while maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of training efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Technical Assistance Planning:
- Develop short-term, intermediate, and long-term TTA plans that align with OHS priorities and initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design responsive and impactful training programs.
Coordination & Quality Assurance:
- Manage and coordinate regional TTA services to ensure high-quality, responsive, and well-coordinated support.
- Ensure contract deliverables are met in a timely manner, including communication and resolution of quality concerns.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes for TTA reports and deliverables.
Supervision & Performance Management:
- Establish and maintain a system of ongoing supervision and coaching for all TTA staff.
- Conduct at least two formal observations per performance period to assess quality and identify professional development needs.
- Promote continuous performance improvement through targeted development strategies.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of OHS-required reports, such as the Regional National Training Plan (RNTP), Recipient Training and Technical Assistance Plan Agreement (RTTAPA), TTA activity reports, staffing rosters, and other deliverables.
Team Coordination & Data Utilization:
- Develop and implement a coordinated TTA team approach to direct recipient support.
- Establish and oversee systems to ensure the health and safety of children.
- Implement data-driven processes to monitor and improve TTA service effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Initiatives:
- Participate in national, regional, state, and local workgroups and meetings as directed by the OHS COR.
- Support emerging OHS initiatives and priorities as they arise.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of a BA or BS Degree in management, human resources, education leadership or administration or a related field from an accredited college or university. Master's preferred.
- If the highest degree was awarded more than ten years ago, the resume should be specific regarding documented continuous learning such as courses, conferences, seminars attended, or relevant work experience within the last 3-5 years.
- A minimum of seven years’ experience, with ten years preferred, that includes:
- At least 3 years with the provision of training and technical assistance.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive supervisory/management experience, and staff development.
- Experience managing remote-located staff.
- Experience coaching staff.
- Expertise in budget oversight, management, and project quality control.
- Experience developing, implementing, and managing/improving complex, multi-faceted projects.
- Experience working in close collaboration/coordination with multiple entities.
- Experience using data to improve the quality and effectiveness of TTA.
- Experience communicating, both orally and in writing, with the ability to adapt to various audiences and formats.
- Experience facilitating group discussions and presenting to a range of audiences using a variety of formats, including virtual.
