Our client, a real estate developer in Loudoun County, VA is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join their established accounting team. The incumbent will report to the controller, manage a team and will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting as well as the growth and development of the team.
Responsibilities
- Enforce accounting and finance policies and procedures
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Develop and maintain internal controls
- Prepare financial statements
- Manage cash flows
- Develop accounting team
Qualifications
- Seven years of general accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- CPA is a plus
- Management experience is required
- Must have experience in the construction industry
- Real estate experience is desired
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MS Excel
Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
