Our client, a law firm in Rockville, MD, is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join their growing accounting department. The incumbent will be responsible for critical accounting functions and will assist the CFO with maintaining strong internal controls, supporting financial reporting, and driving process improvements.

- Report to CFO
- Will manage a team of 4-6
- Accounting functions include accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close processes
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
- New position due to growth of the accounting team
- In office three days a week after onboarding period
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required
- CPA or CPA candidacy strongly preferred
- Five years of corporate accounting experience
- Experience with cash flow management, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Experience managing others
- Law firm experience is preferred but not required
- Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting software
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
