Our multi year client is continuing to grow. We are seeking a talented VP of Business Development with experience leading successful teams within the behavioral health industry. This role will require a balance of leadership, teamwork, and an ability to assist with the close.
Targets will consist of treatment centers, physician offices and other healthcare entities that need behavioral health pharmacy drugs and laboratory services. The VP of Business Development will have growth & maintenance bonus metrics for both pharmacy services and laboratory services over this team of 7.
Responsibilities:
- Leading by example.
- Networking with existing clients, and participating in trade shows and other networking opportunities with the team.
- Managing Business Development Executives and stakeholders in other functional areas.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all product offerings.
- Develop and present to management a business plan (quarterly) that takes into account territory specific factors/variances.
- Focus on company initiatives that will maintain and/or help produce new business for your team.
- Utilize the company's CRM as required.
- Accurately forecast accounts that may be at risk of leaving.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (Business, Marketing, Communications or a scientific field, preferred)
- 7 years outside sales and/or account management experience, required
- 5 years' experience in the behavioral health care space, preferred
- 2 years' experience of supervising/managing/leading teams
- Needs to be physically located between DC & Philly
Salary : $175,000 - $200,000
