Position Description Summary:
To assist with the timely and accurate completion of both the RAI and Care Management process from admission to discharge in accordance to Company Policies and Procedures, State and Federal guidelines, and all other entities as appropriate (e.g., Minimum Data Set, discharge and re-entry tracking forms, etc.)
Duties
- Familiar with MDS 3.0 and all required documents
- Must have strong working knowledge of computers, as all MDS components are computer based
- Strong understanding of state/federal regulations in regards to MDS in a skilled nursing environment
- Knowledge of Medicare as well as various managed care requirements
- Assist in processing and submitting files to State for reimbursement
- Facilitate training of staff on correct procedures and required documentation
- Conduct internal audits on nursing documentation
- Flexibility in performing other tasks as assigned by management
- Working understanding of HIPPA compliance

Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Must have 3-5 years of MDS experience
- Must hold a current RN License
- Experience and knowledge with Point Click Care or similar online system is preferred
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented
