Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform Occupational Therapy Evaluations, complete care plans, establish goals, and communicate frequently with OTA's.
Work closely with patients, family members, and other care team members to adequately plan for patient needs; both short term and long term goals.
Monitor each movement to ensure the patient is performing them properly.
Effectively communicate with supervisor ad other health team members regarding; progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
Chart appropriately and daily, including treatment times and labor hours.
Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Must utilize good body mechanics at all times.
Must be knowledgeable of OT policies, procedures, as well as the laws and regulations.
Must be able to assist in the evacuation of patients.
Must demonstrate dependability and regular attendance.
Qualifications
Current/Valid OT License
CPR/BLS certification
