About the job: The general practice veterinary technician manages client appointments and diagnostics for routine and sick visits. Our GP has a high volume of dental procedures, so pre-anesthetic work ups and dental x-ray and cleaning are large portions of the daily workflow.

How you'll make a difference:
- Run exam room appointments/Obtain bloodwork/xrays/ultrasounds
- Client communication and education about illness and preventive care
- Providing patient care and administration of medications/vaccines
- Dental hygienist, dental x-ray technician, anesthetist based on experience
- Assisting GP Doctors as needed
- Experience working as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred, but experience and PVT accepted
- Will consider candidates with 2 years veterinary assistant experience or currently enrolled in veterinary program for a veterinary assistant position in the department
- Providing empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients and their owners
- Positive outlook, ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.
- Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn and have fun!
Salary:
- $22.00 - $27.00 / hour for veterinary technicians based on experience
