About the job: The surgery department at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital is a busy, 4 doctor practice plus a surgery intern. Because we are a referral hospital, we see a lot of interesting and challenging cases. We are looking for technicians who are flexible, adaptable, and driven, who have an interest in advancing their anesthesia, patient care, and pain management skills and knowledge.
How you'll make a difference:
Salary: $24.00 - $30.00 / hour based on experience, additional salary for on-call shifts and procedures completed

- Patient pre-op preparation and post-op monitoring
- Patient sedation and anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Radiography, surgical assisting, and assisting veterinarian as needed
- Client communication and admitting/discharging patients as needed
- Experience working as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician and confidence in anesthesia
- Providing empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients and their owners
- Positive outlook, ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.
- Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn and have fun!
