Job Summary:
The Commercial Relationship Manager supports the Bank’s mission through effective sales and service, targeted business development efforts and community involvement. Responsible for developing and managing commercial banking relationships in accordance with the Bank’s core values and the Bank’s prescribed sales process in an assigned area.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Increase the Bank's profitability by cultivating new business relationships.
Maintain and develop customer relationships, new business, and periodic review of existing loan arrangements.
Negotiate proper loan structures, selling the Bank's credit and non-credit products.
Accept special projects in support of the team and community involvement.
Maintain knowledge of corporate banking, credit and non-credit products, trust, real estate, treasury management and other bank functions.
Maintain knowledge of accounting and financial principles, marketing and sales principles, credit analysis, economics, and other bank functions.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
5-7 years Commercial Lending experience.
5 years Financial Sales experience.
3 years managing a portfolio of clients.
Demonstrates effective problem solving and excellent collaboration and inter-personal communication skills.
Possesses excellent C & I Lending and product knowledge
Formal Credit Training
Proven sales track record
Strong written, verbal, presentation, and computer proficiency skills
Strong marketing, analytical and overall communication skills
Time management, organizational, and task management skills
