Job Summary:
The Senior Finance Relationship Manager for Note Finance is responsible for cultivating and managing high-value client relationships by understanding their financial needs, providing tailored lending solutions through Note Finance’s platform, and driving significant business growth within a portfolio of large and complex borrowers, while ensuring client satisfaction and exceeding revenue targets through strategic relationship building and proactive engagement.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Actively source and develop new relationships with potential high-net-worth clients, focusing on identifying businesses with significant borrowing needs that align with Note Finance’s lending criteria.
Establish strong, long-term partnerships with clients by understanding their business operations, financial goals, and challenges to provide customized lending solutions.
Conduct comprehensive credit assessments, including financial statement analysis, industry research, and due diligence to evaluate loan eligibility and risk profile.
Actively monitor existing loan portfolios, identifying potential risks and proactively addressing any issues to maintain loan quality and minimize credit losses.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional Note Finance products and services to existing clients, maximizing revenue generation within the portfolio.
Proactively address client concerns, provide ongoing support, and ensure a positive client experience to maintain high retention rates.
Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and adapt lending strategies accordingly.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
Proven track record of success in managing large and complex client relationships within the commercial lending space, ideally with experience in alternative financing or online lending platforms.
Deep understanding of credit analysis, financial statement evaluation, and risk assessment methodologies.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build rapport with clients and effectively present loan proposals.
Strong analytical skills to identify client needs, evaluate loan application, and structure appropriate lending solutions.
Proven ability to work independently and manage a large portfolio of clients while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
15 years of C&I/Real Estate/Note Finance experience highly preferred.
