We are seeking an experienced and motivated Non-Equity Audit and Attest Partner to lead our audit and attest services practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level audit professional looking to step into a leadership role without the financial commitment of equity ownership. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, business acumen, and a client-centric approach.
Essential Duties:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the audit and attest services projects.
- Plan, supervise, and execute financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations and attestation examinations, reviews, and agree-upon-procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (GAAP, GAAS, GAGAS, etc…) and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and acting as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with other partners to drive firm growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Assist in business Southern California development efforts, including building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and participating in client proposals and presentations.
Education, Experience and Skill Required:
- CPA license in California or Hawaii required.
- 10 years of progressive experience in audit and attest services.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
- Proven track record of managing audit engagements and leading teams.
- Business development experience.
