Verity is seeking to hire for a Facilities Coordinator at our Seattle, WA Headquarters location. This is an on-site position. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for managing building and facilities operations, including security, repairs, and vendor relations, as well as overseeing supply inventory and distribution. Additional responsibilities include coordinating deliveries, managing mail and courier services, and ensuring proper setup for training sessions and other events.

- Base Pay: This position has a salary range of $25.37 (minimum) to $38.05 (maximum), with a midpoint of $31.71. Starting pay is offered based upon an applicant s experience and education relevant to the position.
- Paid Time Off: All Verity employees receive 11 paid holidays and 4 paid floating holidays per year, as well as paid time off (PTO is combined vacation and sick leave.) PTO starts accruing immediately at a rate of 20days per year.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Building and Facilities Management
- Secure building at the end of the day
- Diagnose and repair or oversee repairs of building problems
- Monitor parking, building, and grounds, and remedy problems
- Field, assist, and/or redirect tenant calls
- Knowledgeable in all building functions
- Knowledgeable in all computerized building programs: lights, irrigation, security, fire and life safety, heating, ventilating, air conditioning unit, and others
- Enforce strict adherence to established security procedures
- Maintain Verity Credit Union vehicles
Supply and Inventory Management
- Research, recommend, and maintain supply and equipment vendors
- Create and maintain computer inventory of furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Order, maintain, and distribute Credit Union and building supplies
- Maintain Credit Union and building supplies in reasonable order
Vendor and Relations Management
- Maintain relations with all building vendors
- Arrange and coordinate all building deliveries
Operations and Logistics
- Oversee mail, fax, and courier operations
- Monitor training schedules and ensure rooms are set up according to needs
- Perform other job-related duties and assist on projects as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities management or a related field
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; Advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience in coordinating maintenance, safety, and operations of facilities
- Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and maintenance practices
- Proficient in using facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adaptability: Responds quickly to changes, seamlessly shifts between tasks, and manages evolving priorities in dynamic environments.
- Self-Management: Takes initiative to work independently, stays organized, and meets deadlines without needing constant supervision.
- Problem Solving: Actively identifies issues, asks insightful questions, researches solutions, and applies knowledge to resolve challenges efficiently.
