What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing - Media COE, the Associate Director of Programmatic & Social Paid Media - Media COE is expert in platform-based performance digital media buying, targeting, data and analysis platforms, and leveraging technologies to enable efficient growth and ad performance optimization. This role oversees all Programmatic, Native and Social media plans and buys across display, social and platform-based online video, and manages a hybrid team including internal Verizon and external agency team and collaborates with the Consumer and Brand teams as well as the Corporate Marketing Organization, Business Units, and our Internet Sales Operations teams driving demand for and engagement with the Verizon Business brand.
Key Responsibilities :
- Crafting and implementing robust strategies that optimize both paid and organic channels to achieve growth targets efficiently - owning Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS) outcomes.
- Orchestrating paid social, programmatic, and native tactics and initiatives that resonate with our target audience, continually optimizing performance.
- Adopt and promote the test-learn-rollout model for new techniques, media partners, data and platforms.
- Work across the Segment Leadership Teams to identify key priorities and design cohesive plans across BUs.
- Work with the content team for better audience insights and campaign performance.
- Interface with the CMO organization on media strategy, planning and buying, campaign optimization.
- Ensure E2E Media plans reflect best performing tactics to drive traffic across segments (i.e. Chat, .com, Telesales, etc.).
- Ensure E2E transparency in media performance and effectively communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
- Drive innovation in media approaches, staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Empower and develop a team of media professionals, fostering a culture of operational excellence and accountability.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $118,000.00 and $219,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
