This role will help drive Verizon’s communications, media relations, and strategic campaign approach on behalf of the Consumer team. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive PR and communications strategies to engage consumer audiences, enhance our brand’s reputation and promote Verizon's best in class products and services.
What you’ll be doing :
- Developing and implementing communication strategies that support Verizon Consumer's business objectives, elevate the brand, and help drive the sales funnel.
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with consumer, technology, and business media outlets and organizations.
- Creating compelling content, including innovative ways to tell a story via pitches, articles, partnerships, thought leadership and other innovative ways to tell a story.
- Planning and executing events, speaking engagements, etc. that engage key stakeholder audiences.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach to all campaigns, launches, and alignment of messaging and initiatives across the organization.
- Being a partner to a top notch consumer communications team and leading PR agency partners to create and execute plans that drive business results.
- Serving as communications counsel to senior leadership as needed.

Where you’ll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
