What You’ll Be Doing...
Oversee and manage APIC platform lifecycle and maintenance. Provide solutions to a diverse range of complex business requirements using a mix of established and newly operational strategies, supporting API implementations and integrations, Change and Incident Management processes, tasked with daily basis support, releases, and implementations. As IBM API Connect (APIC) SME will be accountable for reviewing and analyzing API implementations, designs, security standards and SOA integrations, managing complex release deployments, aiding technical assistance and guidance APIs in collaboration with APIs architectures and designers. Extended expertise working with APIC YAML files, APIs, Products, Catalogs, Plans, and Developer Portal. Accountable for driving Security Assessments across all API Connect (APIC) environments, fulfilling the Verizon security goals and objectives. Cooperate with SOX program initiatives and PCI compliance exertion. Enforce APIC Access Control and analysis, Asset Management, Data Security, Information Protection Processes and Procedures, and Vulnerabilities Remediation Plans. Responsible for selection methods and techniques for solving problems, planning, and executing troubleshooting strategies, identifying resources, coordinating the work of others as necessary, and resolving most conflicts that arise. Responsible to establish accurate assessments, determine the best approach to resolve technical issues, responsible for making decisions on actions that should be executed to mitigate risks and minimize impact, responsible for providing performance reports and come up with action items to improve systems. Responsible for providing Level 3 support for Tracfone Front-Ends Technologies, especially for PROD environments. Improve systems observability, implementing monitoring tools as part of problem detection optimization, and systems stability strategy. AWS IaaC (Infrastructure as a Code) CI/CD and Automation: Tasked with establishing industry-standard IT automation executions. Enforce and coordinate automation improvements, especially code optimization and security standards. Manage infrastructure and platform changes driven by automation, making sure that process is being carried out properly, complying with all the prerequisites and standards. Manage DevOps CI/CD requirements, aiding technical assistance and guidance for creating deployment pipelines. Performance and capacity management, review Elastic Observability over EKS clusters, nodes usage, pod availability, Monitor Services and Persistent Volumes. Plan for supporting committed service level agreements (SLAs), Monitor Applications Utilization, review workload analytics, determine what need to build in cloud focused on systems stability, analyze sizing and capacity, and decide for decreasing or increasing capacity if required, plan for the worst and meet business requirements based on upcoming implementations
What We’re Looking For...
Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Principal Systems Engineer, Senior Engineer Specialist-Tech Strategy, Software Developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years performing software development and administration in DataPower, API Connect and API Gateway. Experience therein to include 5 years with AWS, XSLT, Node JS, Terraform, SQL, Analytics, Developer Portal, EKS, Oauth, jwt, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), and Jenkins CI/CD SSDLC/SDLC. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
