Verizon Partner Solutions is the multi billion dollar global wholesale business unit in Verizon Business Group. This role is responsible for identifying areas of opportunity for the team to optimize marketing communications, social media and events. This role will lead large cross functional teams across the business and rely on strong interpersonal communication to align objectives and stakeholders. This role sits on a high-performing, active team that delivers results to the firm.
The Marketing Communications Senior Manager will manage our online and offline communication with clients and increase brand awareness. This individual will be responsible for building relationships with potential and existing customers through social media networks. You will manage events like trade shows or conferences where you can interact one-on-one. You will need to maintain these relationships, ensuring a company's sustained success.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $100,000.00 and $185,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

Communications Strategy
- Lead and participate in key meetings with senior executive team to provide directional insight and work with key stakeholders, within and outside the organization to drive initiatives
- Develop advertising content for VPS products/services for various media
- Plan and prepare interviews and press conferences
- Work closely with all stakeholders to manage the value prop/“brand” of the organization, acting as a final checkpoint for messaging and content delivered to senior leaders and other parts of the business.
- Act as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner, and assist in facilitating effective decision making
- Align key stakeholders, determine project schedules, and identify risk mitigation strategies
- Manage the design of promotional material and distribute in online and offline channels
- Manage third party social media agency
- Perform the necessary analysis and provide recommendations on a course of action using strategic thinking processes
- Track ROI for marketing campaigns
- Track social media metrics
- Gather customer feedback to inform sales and product teams
- Write marketing copy for sales collateral, social media posts, website
- Write posts for senior executives and business unit lead to promote our products and services
- Craft and send regular newsletters with company updates
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
- Six or more years of relevant work experience
- Proven work experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist or similar role
- Experience with marketing campaigns on social media
- Business Acumen in PR, marketing campaigns and marketing events
- Experience working with marketing strategy and managing large-scale, multi-faceted marketing programs and events
- Business Analysis
- Excel modelling skills
- Executive presentation and strong communication skills
- Pmo/SmartSheets project management software
- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Communications
- Managed relationships with advertisers
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills
