Summary
The Director of Solution Architects for the Principal Segment within Global Enterprise is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth by leading teams of skilled Solution Architects (SAs) focused on delivering innovative and tailored technology solutions to government and education customers. This role requires a deep understanding of both wireless and wireline technologies, the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value propositions, and a passion for leading and developing high-performing teams.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a teams of Solution Architects, fostering a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, and customer-centricity.
Establish clear performance expectations, provide regular coaching and feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
Identify and address skill gaps within the team through training, mentorship, and development opportunities.
Foster strong cross-functional relationships with sales, product, engineering, and other key stakeholders.
Solution Design & Technical Expertise
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team in the design and development of complex wireless and wireline solutions for Global Enterprise customers.
Maintain deep technical expertise across the company’s portfolio of wireless and wireline products and services, including 5G/LTE, fiber optics, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and IoT.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings, particularly within the public sector landscape.
Develop and maintain a library of reusable solution architectures, technical documentation, and best practices.
Sales Growth & Customer Engagement
Partner closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth by providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle.
Lead the development of compelling technical proposals, presentations, and demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of public sector customers.
Participate in customer meetings and presentations, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key technical decision-makers within public sector organizations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting role, with a proven track record of success in the public sector.
Deep technical understanding of wireless and wireline technologies, including 5G/LTE, fiber optics, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and IoT.
Experience managing and leading technical teams, with a demonstrated ability to motivate, develop, and inspire others.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a creative and innovative approach to solution design.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
Industry certifications relevant to wireless and wireline technologies

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
