As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of Verizon's building systems, which includes starting, operating, repairing, and maintaining various types of heating and air conditioning plants and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair motor controller and associated electrical equipment and control circuits.
- Install, repair, and calibrate various makes of pneumatic and/or electric controls required for temperature and humidity control equipment operation.
- Perform regular inspections and make necessary repairs on equipment/systems in accordance with company practices and regulations/ordinances.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid refrigeration license (Q-01) and maintain a current certificate of fitness for one or all of the following: fire standpipe, sprinkler, welding, oil burner, and air compressor operation.
- Possess relevant vocational or technical training or 3 or more years of relevant work experience.
