As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our outside plant infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that all outside plant equipment is properly installed, maintained, and removed.
- Connecting wires and cables to terminals and attaching/detaching various types of hardware.
- Reading and interpreting engineering work orders to ensure accurate completion.
- Performing construction work using designated equipment, such as digging holes, placing poles, etc.
- Operating Company motor vehicles to transport equipment.
- Climbing ladders and poles, working aloft, perceiving differences in wire and cable colors, and moving/lifting items generally not exceeding 100 lbs.
