Role Summary:
You'll be responsible for maintaining our outside plant infrastructure, ensuring it operates at maximum efficiency and preparedness. This includes performing construction work, reading and interpreting engineering work orders, and working aloft.
Key Responsibilities:
Placing, rearranging, and removing outside plant equipment, including aerial, underground, submarine, buried, block, and house cables, poles, and associated hardware/fixtures.
Connecting wires and cables to terminals and attaching/detaching various kinds of hardware to wires, cables, building, or poles.
Performing construction work using designated equipment, such as digging holes and placing poles.
Operating Company motor vehicles of varying gross weights to transport equipment.
Requirements:
Valid state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL.
A related Associate Degree or 2 or more years of relevant work experience.
