This Outside Plant Operations Professional will play a critical role in maintaining Verizon's outside plant facilities, ensuring they operate at maximum efficiency and preparedness. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of outside plant and construction principles, as well as excellent physical abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform construction work using designated equipment, including digging holes and placing poles.
- Connect wires and cables to terminals and attach/detach hardware as needed.
- Operate company motor vehicles to transport equipment.
- Climb ladders and poles, working aloft, and perceiving differences in wire and cable colors.
Requirements
- A related Associate Degree or 2 years of relevant work experience.
- CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL.
