What you’ll be doing...
You’ll be responsible for supporting Revenue Assurance activities that protect the integrity of the revenue stream. You’ll support strategic projects, identify financial control impacts and assist in solving complex problems that aid in the successful completion of initiatives within your functional area.
Representing Revenue Assurance for new project/product rollouts, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc requests.
Writing SQL code to uncover issues impacting customer billing/charging and situations where customers are under or over-billed/charged.
Evaluating Revenue Assurance impacts and submitting and validating RA requirements.
Assisting with the designing and building of Financial Controls.
Monitoring financial controls, analyzing exceptions and filing defects to resolve billing/charging issues.
Utilizing various tools such as ACSS, VISION, POS, MARS, CPI, EDW, GCP/BQ, SMART, Salesforce to help ensure the integrity of our data and systems.
Reviewing various transactions for accuracy to identify issues.
Performing ad hoc research of billing/charging issues and anomalies.
Communicating timely updates on projects, issues and impacts to Revenue Assurance Leadership.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant work experience in Revenue Assurance, Finance, Audit, Quality Assurance or technical discipline.
Knowledge of system or process controls.
Desire to learn and capability to assimilate new information and adapt to frequent change.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Masters in a finance, business or technical discipline.
Relevant certifications such as: CTFL, PMP, CAPM, CISA, SQL
Experience with complex data analytics and coding experience in SQL.
Strong knowledge of VZ systems such as ACSS, VISION, POS, MARS, CPI, EDW, GCP/BQ, SMART, ROC and REVO.
Experience with Revenue Assurance functions.
Knowledge of wireless/wireline systems, network record flows, and processes.
Project management and cross-functional team experience.
Experience with Order to BIll functions such as: order processing, provisioning, network architecture or billing systems.
Experience in Agile, JIRA and Clarity.
Ability to execute solutions and drive problems to closure.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to the needs of the audience.
Strong background in project management and/or systems auditing.
Strong analytical skills.
Organized, detail oriented individual that can work with limited supervision.
