What You’ll Be Doing...
As Principal Engineer - Technical Project Management, you’ll work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to help them manage multiple deliverables and stay on track. When expertise in project management is required, you will be there to assign responsibilities and set goals to maintain project momentum and achieve your team’s desired outcomes. You’ll utilize standard program management processes and tools across IT investment programs. The ideal candidate will support the lifecycle of large technical programs & projects, leading project-level reviews, working cross functionally and departmentally with other technical teams, ensuring portfolio health and PMO metrics are met.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $124,000.00 and $231,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To The Following
- Work with key stakeholders and Global Technology Solution partners to prioritize strategic initiatives and drive capacity alignment across the ecosystem. Focus on capacity allocation internally & reprioritize on need basis.
- Represent Value Indirect on new initiatives.
- Partner with Portfolio to ensure programs remain on-budget and report risks timely
- Manage all aspects of several projects from inception until implementation to ensure successful completion. This can include but not limited to user experience testing, production validation, escalations, developing timelines and action plans to mitigate potential risks.
- Deliver concise storyline and strategy updates for key senior updates and operational reviews.
- Act as an advocate leading culture initiatives within the organization.
- Partner with leaders for budget planning and financial tracking.
What We’re Looking For...
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
- Proven track record managing the implementation & modification of complex systems and technology solutions.
- Ability to conduct analysis of project and program delivery metrics to identify bottlenecks or sources of defects in the program’s production methodology and perform comprehensive financial analysis illustrating cost, benefits and ROI.
- Understanding of agile and waterfall project management methods.
- Experience with Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Asana , Clarity and Slack.
- Willingness to travel approximately up to 25% of the time.
- MBA and/or PMP certification
- Experience in the Value segment
- Experience in a Product Owner, Experience Designer, Business Architect or similar business role
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and organize data and develop recommendations.
- Experience in identifying opportunities to streamline processes and create efficiencies
- Detail-oriented, excellent judgment, independent thinker, and resourceful
- Proven ability to influence management decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication and stakeholder alignment.
- Extensive organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Asana , Clarity and Slack.
