Company
Verla International is a leading private label manufacturer and contract packaging, filling company with over 40 lines for nail polish, 40 lines for color cosmetics, personal care, creams, lotions, fragrances and perfumes providing quality service since 1980. We build our own proprietary manufacturing equipment and we create and own many of our cosmetic packaging molds.
Position
The Project Manager is part of the Verla International Product Development and Production team.
Responsibilities
- Creates and manages Project Costing, Timeline, Meeting Agenda, and Open Items Tracker documentation.
- Leads communication with appropriate internal departments regarding product sourcing requirements, product development, and production coordination
- Manages and communicates product development requirements amongst client, internal and vendor resources to ensure product/project success.
- Lead weekly project status meetings involving clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Utilizes internal and client systems to manage forecast, purchasing, and production information
- Depending on experience/capability, opportunity to expand responsibility into a group management role.
Qualifications * Must have demonstrated project management experience
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with AS400 a plus
- Experience within the cosmetic industry a plus
- Demonstrated flexibility and agility to accommodate shifting priorities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
