Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Representative to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our market presence within your designated territory. You will leverage your skills in customer service, equipment sales, and business development to build strong relationships with clients and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agiculture and a proven track record in sales, particularly in lead generation and upselling.
$30,000.00 per year base with uncapped commission and truck allowance.
This is a hybrid sales postition in an East Texas territory with a minimum of one day per week in office in Athens TX.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities within the territory.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends, ensuring our offerings align with market demands.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and analyze performance metrics.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction with our products and services.
- Achieve sales targets through effective upselling techniques and by managing the sales pipeline efficiently.
- Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
- Proven experience in agriculture sales with a strong understanding of agriculture solutions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Strong business development skills, including lead generation and upselling capabilities.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing customer relationships.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a persuasive approach to selling.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and overcoming objections in the sales process.
