Accounting Clerk

Responsibilities:
- Directly assist and backup the VP of Finance by helping to oversee and maintain the financial operations of the company

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts

- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy

- Manage the general ledger reconciliation process

- Generate month-end General Ledger

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory reports, and company policies

- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency

- Sales Tax reporting

- Support all other Accounting Department Functions acting as both the back-up other accounting roles

- FET, IFTA, MSO

Skills:
- Proficiency in CDK/Intellidealer is a plus
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation principles and practices
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements
- Solid understanding of debits, credits, and financial transactions in double entry accounting
- Financial acumen to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of governmental accounting principles is a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
