Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Sales
- Call on customers within your assigned territory, selling new and used equipment, rentals, parts, and servicing solutions in the environmental segment- Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities to expand our market presence-Conduct equipment demonstrations in the field and at customer job sites
Logistics & Customer Support
- Load and unload equipment onto trailers and tow equipment to customer job sites, ensuring a seamless delivery process- Process quotes, sales, rentals, and lease-purchase agreements, providing essential support during credit and financing applications-Assist Accounts Receivables with collections to maintain healthy financial relationships
Product Knowledge & Representation
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Vermeer equipment lineup, as well as alliance partner equipment and competitive products- Represent Vermeer Mountain West at factory, industry, and company events, including meetings and trainings
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, performing work assignments according to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred experience in the Infrastructure and Construction industries
- CDL Class A (preferred)
- Proficient computer skills
- Valid Driver's License
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend, squat, or climb on equipment frequently
- Lift at least 75 pounds
- Stand or walk for an extended period on slippery or uneven job sites
- Work in extremely hot or cold weather conditions
- Basic mechanical skills required (ability to load and unload trailers, change a tire, etc.)
