About the role
Vermeer Southeast is currently seeking an experienced Service Manager to organize and coordinate the operations of the service department.
What you'll do
- Ensure that employees are available for key positions by anticipating and planning for the future staffing needs.
- Effectively manages staff through active performance management and implementation of a meaningful development process.
- Provide needed service solutions that address customer concerns and enhance customer experience.
- Lead a team that markets Vermeer products and services by soliciting customers through applicable sales strategies.
- Analyze existing shop time and space, customer demand and market share trends to maximize department’s full profit potential.
Qualifications
- Graduation from high school, GED equivalent, or equivalent in-service operations and labor selling at the management level. College degree a plus.
- One (1) year leadership experience with demonstrated communication and leadership skills.
- Previous Industry experience.
- Ability to clearly communicate as well as understand read and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to multi-task and be detailed orientated with demonstrated follow through and organizational skills.
