The ideal candidate is energetic, creative, organized and has strong multi-tasking abilities. Must be committed to learning and complying with health care standards of food preparation and understand safe food handling for Level III residential care homes. Responsible for managing all aspects of the dietary department including providing outstanding and attractive meals with impeccable service to our residents. Should feel comfortable with management of schedule, budget and staff. Two years of experience cooking in a restaurant or health care facility preferred.

Requirements of the Dining Manager
- 2 years of food service experience in a health care facility.
- Staff supervisory experience.
- Train, assign and coordinate the work of employees in the performance of dietary duties.
- Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff
- Keep appropriate documentation as required by state and local regulations
- Inspect kitchen, dining area, kitchen utensils, and equipment to ensure sanitation standards are met.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Participate in employment decisions regarding food service staff
