Key Responsibilities:
- Perform specialized clerical and administrative work with heavy data entry and case processing.
- Process cases across the full case-cycle, including docket entry, filing, notice sending, document review, order preparation, scheduling, and operator function during court hearings.
- Operate various tools to support both in-person and virtual court hearings.
- Maintain attention to detail and follow standardized business practices.
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide information, and assistance.
- Collect fines and fees according to established procedure.
- Stay up-to-date with court rules and statutes.

Minimum Requirements:
- High School graduation or equivalent.
- Two years of clerical, secretarial or data entry experience; preference given to candidates with prior experience in a legal setting.
- College training may be substituted for work experience on a year-for-year basis.
This position requires:
- A non-exempt Judicial Branch position equivalent to pay grade 19.
- Full-time, limited-service opening in Newfane, Vermont.
- Scheduled hours conform to public court hours, but assignments may extend beyond those hours.
